Oxidation is a process often encountered during the processing of aluminum alloy prototypes. Natural oxidation will cause the surface of the aluminum alloy prototypes to be unsightly, so manual oxidation is required. There are many precautions when aluminum alloy is oxidized. The following hardware model prototype processing factory will introduce to you. 1. Before the aluminum alloy prototype is oxidized, in order to make the surface of the prototype more beautiful, sandblasting is usually carried out. The impact of high-speed sand flow is used to reduce the surface roughness and form lines, so that the oxidized aluminum alloy prototype is very beautiful. But if the customer requires natural color oxidation, sandblasting is not required. 2. Sandblasting should be uniform: the sandblasting pressure should be consistent, the nozzle movement should be stable, and the spray angle should be consistent. Keep the distance between the nozzle and the workpiece consistent. 3. Normally, stainless steel and copper cannot be oxidized. Only aluminum alloy can be oxidized. However, different aluminum alloy materials have different oxidation effects. For example, the oxidation effect of aluminum alloy 7075 is not good, because it The composition contains copper. Generally, aluminum alloys starting with 5 and 6 can be oxidized, and the oxidation effect of aluminum alloy 6061-T6 is better.
