Aluminum alloy cutting fluid manufacturers have found that the flexibility of aluminum alloy will bring two serious problems

by:Foxron     2021-11-08
1. Prone to sticking. The aluminum particles adhere to the surface of the cutting tool, which seriously affects the roughness of the machined surface, or forms a 'bonded' built-up edge on the tool. The built-up edge will generate greater resistance and therefore requires a higher cutting force. , Resulting in bad cutting marks. Bonding and material deformation often determine the cutting efficiency of aluminum alloys in machining. 2. Due to the high ductility of aluminum, it may form long strip-shaped cracks, which will block the cutting area and make the cutting process difficult. At the same time, the cut chips are difficult to be taken away by the cutting fluid. . Another issue that needs to be considered in aluminum alloy processing is its high thermal expansion coefficient. The heat generated by deformation and friction in machining can quickly spread to the workpiece, which makes it difficult to control the size of the workpiece, affects the machining accuracy of the workpiece, and requires greater cutting force.
