Pay attention to what are the options for aluminum alloy yacht materials?

General marine grade aluminum alloy, mostly refers to the 5 series magnesium aluminum alloy. The models are distinguished according to the magnesium content, such as: 5052, 5083, etc.; simply understand that 5052 contains less magnesium and has better molding properties, and is better for pressing, while 5083 contains higher magnesium content, which is more brittle and hard. Suitable for profile processing, but 5083 is harder than 5052 and has better anti-corrosion performance. 1. Outfitting also uses 5052 alloy. There are plates, tubes and rods. 2. 5083 alloy can produce wide and thin-walled extruded profiles. 3. The thickness of the plate is determined by the hull structure, ship specifications and use parts. From the perspective of hull weight reduction, thin plates are generally used as much as possible, but the depth of corrosion of the plates during use should also be considered. Generally, thin plates of 1.6mm or more and thick plates of 30mm or more are used. In order to reduce welding, 2.0m wide aluminum plates are often used, while large ships use 2.5m wide aluminum plates, which are generally 6m in length. Some special specifications are also used in accordance with shipyard contracts. To prevent slippage, the deck adopts a checkered plate
